We are a unique manufacturer and supplier of private label, polymer based, 3d printing products with a focus on toll manufacturing

Through our toll manufacturing services, we offer to manufacture your formulas into filaments with the requirements in quality and packaging as you define. Typically we do these services for: Polymer manufacturers, OEM’s, but also in some cases for printer manufacturers or distributors.

For example;

Are you a polymer manufacturer looking for filaments as a value added to your polymers? We can do this for you. You as the manufacturer know best where your polymers are being used. If your customers want to start taking advantage of 3D printing then we can produce the filament for you but also do the distribution for you.

OEM’s: Here it’s important to bring the knowledge about hardware, software and consumables together while finding partners who act like a solution provider. Our broad knowledge of these 3 fields will result in a higher chance of success.

Printer manufacturer; You might have great experience with a specific polymer. We can help by getting the polymer manufacturer and you to work together to completely match the material and printer.

Distributor; It is impossible for us to proactively position all types of materials. Do you, as a distributor, have a material that you want to position to enhance your material selection then we we’d love to discuss and be your toll-manufacturer for this.

We offer you the opportunity to take advantage of our many years of experience in (co-)developing, modifying, compounding and extrusion of filaments. All of this can be done according to your specific requirements which can include, but are not limited to, producing filament within specific diameter tolerances, moisture content and much more.

Printer manufacturer

A printer manufacturer asked us for a water soluble filament for their upcoming dual extrusion printer.

In this case we developed a custom PVA filament solution that matches exactly with the manufacturers hardware, software and primary filament in order to take care that the manufacturer can offer a plug and play solution to its customers.

To achieve these goals we had to develop several compounds followed by thorough testing on the manufacturers machine while working to deliver a perfect match with perfect print settings.

Distributor (Filament brand)

A partner of ours was looking to introduce a more stable and reliable so called exotic material based on stone.

Other manufacturers had already attempted earlier versions of stone filaments with the huge drawback that they would be either extremely fragile or would not feel like real stone at all. We went back to the drawing board and were able to create a reliable and realistic looking stone filament by trial and error.

In the end we were able to create 4 different types of stone filament that can be printed at amazing speeds while giving both the look and feel of stone and that doesn’t break easily while handling the filament.

Industrial OEM

A large producer of consumer products asked us to create filament for their production facility according to very specific requirements and tolerances.

During this process teams from both the producer and our company worked on DF premises to optimize every part of the extrusion process which included, but are not limited to, dialing in tolerances, removing potential vacuoles, optimizing moisture content and winding directly on an extrusion line.

In the end all this effort resulted in a perfectly optimized filament that is now being used daily to create all sorts of consumer products which opens up a completely new way of manufacturing for this partner.

We are able to create nearly any type of filament from many different materials.

After deciding on a composition we can do our own in-house compounding.

During extrusion we laser measure the filament for the best tolerances.

When required we can offer winding directly on the line on different spools.
