NOVAMID® ID1030 is a high-quality polyamide, that has been developed as a special product line in order to cope with high demand levels from our Japanese customers. Novamid® ID1030 has seen various applications in various fields and various regions. From car to packaging, Novamid® is supported by an experienced and wide range of experts.

NOVAMID® ID1030 features:

  • Is a pure polyamide 6/polyamide 66, and was originally developed many years ago by our Engineering Plastics experts for demanding specialty applications often subjected to extreme heat
  • The optimized crystallization profile improves fusion, enabling parts with excellent interlayer strength and high surface quality.

Additional info:

Common fused filament fabrication (FFF) equipment should work with Novamid® filaments, direct drive as well as Bowden type extruders. Typical settings for any slicing software (e.g. Slic3R, Cura, Simplify3D) are listed below. Note that for different nozzle diameters the settings should be changed accordingly.


Storage:

In order to prevent moisture pick up and contamination, supplied packaging should be kept closed and undamaged. For the same reason, partially used bags should be sealed before re-storage. Allow the material that has been stored elsewhere to adapt to the temperature in the processing room while keeping the bag closed.
